I began painting in oils when I was 12 years old. I studied at Colchester School of Art and later at Middlesex University where I obtained a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art.

I have painted numerous portrait commissions as well as landscapes, still-life and fantasy subjects. I like to create glowing effects of colour through the use of glazes. My art is based on drawing, which I also teach.

A number of my pictures are available as high quality prints.
